Vanderbilt Chancellor Slams Anti-Israel Agitators on Campus

Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier emphasized that while demonstrations both supporting and opposing Israel on campus and nationwide are considered free speech and protected, any acts of violence during these protests are unacceptable and should be addressed and penalized by university officials.

"So this has nothing to do with free speech," Diermeier clarified to Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

While the disruptive anti-Israel activists at Columbia and New York universities have dominated the news, Vanderbilt University has also faced tumultuous anti-Israel protests in recent months. One of these rallies led to protesters breaking into a building and attacking school staff.
