Through the recent accord between Governor Newsom and CTA, a reevaluation of Proposition 98, a law from 1988 that secures a specific funding level for public schools annually, is promised. This commitment aims to secure an extra $5.5 billion for schools in forthcoming periods, enhancing financial support for education.
